Studies show that young people are open to receiving mobile communication from their favorite brands.

A recent study by Harris Interactive further proves the effectiveness of mobile marketing.

By conducting a survey of consumers aged 18-34, they found that there is interest in receiving mobile marketing messages in the form of SMS - 42% to be exact. If the communication is coming from entertainment companies, restaurants, or other popular sources, the willingness is even higher.

Provided that the texts are sent as a result of signing up or registering first, youn consumers will be willing to read these messages on the go.

Most impressively, the statistic is even hire for the male market of the same age. Their specific stats showed that 51% would welcome mobile communication from a company they were interested in. A real opportunity lies here, since this elusive market is so hard to reach with other media.
